Arrival at Colombo International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to Habarana. On arrival in Habarana check in at hotel.

After lunch enjoy a jeep safari in Minneriya national park. Famous for it’s elephant and stunning landscapes. You can witness the majestic gathering of elephants during the dry season, which is like a nature own version of family reunion.

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Rock fortress in Sigiriya. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory. Built by King Kashyapa (477-495 A.D), the “Lion Rock” is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200m from the scrub jungle.

Enjoy a village safari in Hiriwaduna. It’s like stepping into a postcard of rural Sri Lanka. You get to experience the rural life of Sri Lanka. Ride a bullock cart and enjoy a boat safari in Hiriwaduna Lake. Mingle with local women who prepares lunch and do a cookery demonstration. Enjoy lunch and return to hotel by TUK TUK.

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave for Kandy. En route visit Rock cave temple in Dambulla which dates back to the 01st century BC, is an amazing complex of 05 caves, first used as a refuge by an ancient king who on regaining his throne, commissioned magnificent carved images within the living rock, Later kings made further improvements and the caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is a colossal figure spanning 15 meters. Cave inscriptions from the 2nd Century BC are found and on the walls are many paintings most of which belong to the Kandy period (early 19th century).

Visit a spice garden in Matale.

Arrive in Kandy visit to temple of tooth relic. Kandy, founded in the 14th century, is the southern tip of Sri Lanka's 'Cultural Triangle'. The city became the capital of the kingdom in 1592, during a troubled time when many of the islanders were fleeing to the interior, away from the coastal areas the European powers were fighting over. Although taken several times, the city remained one of the Sinhalese bastions of independence until the British troops entered it on 14 February 1815. From Vimala Dharma Suriya I (1591-1604) to Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe (1798-1815), it was the last seat of royal power. It remains the religious capital of Buddhism and a sacred city for millions of believers. Enshrined in the Dalada Maligawa is the relic of the tooth of Buddha which has long been greatly venerated.
